| Larry was chosen as an ambassador for the state of Washington and Governor Booth Gardner to present a one-half life-size eagle bronze to the American Eagle Foundation (click on link) during a ceremony held in Dollywood, TN. Shown with Larry are country star James Rogers, President of the foundation, Al Cecere, President of Dollywood, and the eagle handlers. Governor Booth Gardner sent a Letter from the People of Washington (click on link) that was presented along with the bronze. The foundation has been responsible for more than 200 successful eagle releases. |
