| Larry was also commissioned to sculpt the "Hanson Buck," the new world record whitetail deer. Larry is the only sculptor to have been able to sculpt most, if not all, the Boone and Crockett world record deer, elk and moose. In March of 1997, Larry became one of the few living artists to have his work accepted into the permanent collection of the C.M.Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana. In 2005, Larry finished and received his Master's of Theology Degree with a Major in Biblical Studies. The same year he tested for, and became a member of, MENSA, the high IQ Society. In 2008, he was listed in Marqui's Who's Who in America publication. Larry is currently working on the sculpture of the new World Record non-typical elk, the Spider Bull taken in September of 2008. |
| Pictured at right are Larry and his then two-year-old granddaughter, Holly. She has helped her "Papa" sculpt ever since she can remember. She has been around it so much that one of her very first words was "elk." |
